The teacher will assess the student in the final class and evaluate the student to promote them to the next course or suggest Add-on classes (or in some cases, repeat the current course).If the student has not submitted any assessments within the first six classes, the Academy will assume the course to be an "Audit" course for the student.A student may opt to "Audit" a course within the first six classes of a course.For Audit courses, the student would not be required to submit any assessments.The Academy will NOT provide any certificate for audit courses.The Academy recognizes students who wish to just sing and be in the moment and do not desire the extra rigor required to complete assessments and gain a Credit Certificate.

This course will lay the foundation for acquiring clarity of voice and teach how to focus on the stability of the note and match pitch perfectly with the Tanpura. With our Hindustani Vocals 101 course, you will acquire the ability to use basic elements of music (melody and rhythm) to improvise musical phrases. If you are a beginner, and wish to take up music for a longer term, I would recommend you take up our Hindustani Vocals or Carnatic Vocals (depending on your preference). The class size for a GWM course would be 6-10. The class size for an HV or CV children’s course would be 3 to 7. They will continue to learn the basics in each class, and learn how to apply those concepts in the songs they learn.įor children, we will have group classes.

If your child is older than 5 and you want them to take up music in the long term as well, we would recommend taking up either Hindustani or Carnatic vocals for children.
